Entries are now open for the 43rd Hamble Winter Series. The event will take place in the central Solent starting on Sunday 6th of October and finishing on Sunday the 1st of December.

As always there will be a lay weekend halfway through the series on the 3rd of November. Racing in the main series is for IRC rated yachts with a TCC between 0.810 and 1.300 and will consist of two races a day for the first four weeks and one race a day for the last four weeks. The PRO will be Peter Bateson who will be supported by the experienced HWS Race Team.

The weekend of the 12th and 13th of October will incorporate the Hamble IRC Autumn Championship. There will be three races on the Saturday and two on the Sunday. Those teams entered for the whole winter series will get the Saturday free of charge. This is the last chance to see who the IRC top dog is!

The Hamble One Design Championships will be held over two weekends, the 5th and 6th of October and the 19th and 20th of October. Racing will be offered for the J/70, SB20, RS21 and J/111 classes. Ian Bullock will be in charge of making sure the different classes don't end up at the leeward gate all at the same time. If they do his drone shots should be spectacular.

Early bird entries close on 6th September 2024.
