The Viking 82 has achieved new levels of innovation and quality for a sportfishing yacht between 80 and 90 feet.
Combining unmatched performance and engineering with modern style and luxury, our newest convertible marks the beginning of a new chapter of Viking excellence. She's a work of power and precision with twin 2635MHP MTU powerplants pushing her efficient running surface to a top speed of 42 knots.
The unobstructed teak-clad cockpit (which measures about 230 square feet) seems to go on forever, giving anglers plenty of fish-fighting real estate. A rocket launcher, fighting chair or table can be mounted to the cockpit sole, which is reinforced with an aluminum plate laminated into the deck.
The mezzanine, aft bulkhead and salon door all feature a finely detailed faux teak exterior. Seating includes a new standard starboard-side lounge, and the mezzanine on this boat (hull No. 1) is appointed with optional air conditioning.
Three teak helm chairs are mounted to a helm platform that provides superb 360-degree visibility and a clear view of the cockpit deck. The clean streamlined center console holds four multi-function displays along with instruments and controls in the outboard radio boxes. Dual lounges with shared backrests on each side maximize seating.
The 82 also features a new design in the forward section of the flybridge. The console boasts an integrated lounge with a leg-elevating design, standard air conditioning in the backrest and freezer storage below. Forward you have dual freezers for different baits and/or food storage and a sink and a refrigerated drink box.
