Dangerous conditions entire coast Sun 16 and Mon 17 June and possible also on the following days.
Why
A low over the southern Tasman Sea will deepen during the weekend and stay for a few days, generating fresh to strong southerly winds and large surf along the coast into the first half of next week.
Where
Dangerous conditions are forecast on the entire NSW coast on Sunday and Monday, with seas of 2 to 3 metres plus southerly swells of 4 to 6 metres.
BOM is warning that on all these waters surf conditions are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as crossing bars by boat and rock fishing.
Swell period
Swell period will be 10 to 13 seconds.
