The Great Red Snapper Paradox

Anglers are reporting catching red snapper when they're not targeting them, sometimes in places where they weren't previously found © Return ‘Em Right

The federal season for Atlantic red snapper in 2024 is expected to be maybe two days, or perhaps no season at all.

However, the data shows us that longer seasons and higher bag limits should be considered, given the abundance of snapper off the coast.
