Winds in the high 20s caused an early end to the 55th French Olympic Week. With no medal races, yesterday's scores stand, and US Sailing Team's Charlotte Rose is taking home her first World Cup win of her career in the ILCA 6.

Rose sailed a consistent week with top five finishes in six of her nine races and will collect a gold medal at today's closing ceremony. While she was not the victor of U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Sailing and will not compete at the Olympics this summer, she took the win this week in France against many women who will represent their countries in Marseille very soon.

"I definitely needed a little confidence boost following Trials and this is a really good kickoff for the next quad," said Rose. "I'm really excited and it's already right in line with what I'm planning for my LA28 preparation. I have some time off now to be able to create the foundation I want to create to hit the ground running next year. I'm just really happy and proud of this win."

USST 49er team Andrew Mollerus and Ian MacDiarmid were also scheduled to sail their medal race today but will now keep their 6th overall.

The US will bring home a gold and silver medal and two new Olympic tickets from the closing ceremony of the Last Chance Regatta and French Olympic Week. In addition to Charlotte's gold, Noah Lyons (USST Men's iQFOiL) will collect his Last Chance Regatta silver medal and both Lyons and Markus Edegran (USST Men's Kite) will collect their tickets to Paris 2024.
