Auckland based videographer, Justin Mitchell was out at Eastern Beach today to check out Emirates Team New Zealand's seventh day of sailing in their new AC75.

Strong winds were recorded, and many were surprised that the America's Cup Defenders sailed at all, with the new AC75 expected to be packed for Barcelona by the end of the month.

Winds were recorded around the sailing area at 20-25kts gusting over 30kts. The AC75 was sailing on the usual training area of the "Back Paddock", or Course E from the 2021 America's Cup.

The Kiwis towed out and towed back - and while there were a few pauses from what could be seen from North Head (through very good binoculars) the AC75 seemed to be handling the conditions with remarkable ease.
