Teatime and her crew, Domi, Anna, Boróka, and Katalin, embarked on their journey from Croatia in late June 2020. They sailed from the Mediterranean later that same year, crossing the Atlantic to the Caribbean, and then sailed through the Panama Canal into the Pacific and eventually the Galápagos Islands.
Their next leg was a non-stop 20-day sail from the Galápagos to French Polynesia. The isolation felt both exhilarating and daunting, but seeing Nuku Hiva rise from the ocean was a moment they say they will never forget. Onwards they went to the Marquesas and Tuamotus, each island and atoll its own universe of biodiversity and culture. By the time they reached Bora Bora, they were deeply appreciative of the paradise they found, grateful for its beauty and mindful of its fragility.
Today, they are getting ready for their departure towards the Great Barrier Reef and Indonesia. Domi, Anna, along with their daughters, Boróka, and Katalin are certainly having a grand adventure aboard their Jeanneau 51, Teatime.
