JOG (Junior Offshore Group) Yacht Racing will kickstart 2024 with two new sponsors for its racing programme.

Global charter company Dream Yacht Worldwide and lifejacket manufacturer, TeamO Marine Safety Products, have come on board for the JOG Weymouth race on Saturday 20th April 2024 and the JOG St Vaast race on Saturday 3rd May 2024 respectively.

JOG says Dream Yacht Worldwide and TeamO's commitment to supporting Corinthian offshore yacht racing will help the club grow in reach and participation levels.

The Weymouth and St Vaast races are popular events in the JOG programme and are expected to attract circa 30 to 50 boats ranging from 25ft-40ft, including both fully crewed and double-handed crews. Each sponsor will not only be supporting the races themselves with prizes but also offer advice on chartering and safety at sea, along with discounts to all JOG members.

Dream Yacht Worldwide and TeamO Marine Safety Products are joining a raft of returning sponsors supporting JOG's racing calendar, including Henri Lloyd, OneSails, Serversys, Stoneways Marine Insurance, Osmotech, PredictWind, Exposure OLAS and Nautical Cloud.

Regarding the importance of these sponsorships for JOG's 2024 race programme, Race Director Stuart Lawrence says, "It is great to see Dream Yacht Worldwide and TeamO Marine Safety Products join the JOG racing calendar with their array of expertise and offerings. We are grateful for their support and we look forward to the season ahead."

Sebastian Hirst, Sales Director at Dream Yacht Worldwide adds: "We are delighted to come on board to sponsor the JOG Weymouth race taking place in April. As the world's largest yacht charter company, we are always keen to support the next generation of sailors and look forward to cheering the teams on once race day arrives."

Oscar Mead, Founder of TeamO comments "We are thrilled to be supporting the JOG race programme this year. The JOG ethos encompasses the same spirit of adventure and camaraderie that we believe in at TeamO. We are delighted to be bringing our Backtow technology to the fleet and keeping offshore sailors safe as they set sail on their next adventure."
