Spirit Yachts Appoints Australasia Dealer

by Spirit Yachts 11 Mar 21:15 UTC

British modern classic yacht design and build company Spirit Yachts has appointed representation in Australia and New Zealand. Continuing its expansion into new markets, Spirit Yachts has confirmed yacht sales consultant Kevin Wallis will be representing the company in Australasia.

Spirit Yachts' Managing Director Karen Underwood commented, "Kevin is a keen sailor, who is full of enthusiasm and passion for Spirit Yachts. His experience on the water and in yacht sales are a perfect fit for us and we are delighted to welcome him to the team."

Karen continued, "Based in Palm Beach, northern Sydney, Kevin and his team are perfectly placed to extend our high standards of customer service into Australia and New Zealand. As a company, we pride ourselves on the strong relationships we have with our owners and clients so it's a natural next step to expand our in-person representation into key markets around the world."

A keen sailor from a young age, Kevin Wallis has raced yachts in New Zealand and Australia, including the competing in the famous Sydney Hobart Race. Combining his love of sailing with 30 years as a management consultant, Kevin has a well-established reputation in Australasia in Bluewater yacht sales.

Kevin said, "I have always admired Spirit Yachts from afar so it's a real pleasure to be representing this iconic British brand in Australia and New Zealand. With our love of the outdoors, there is a strong sail and power boat market in Australasia, and I plan to maximise the opportunity for Spirit."

Kevin and his team will be at the following boat shows representing Spirit Yachts this year: Auckland Boat Show (14th - 17th March), Sanctuary Cove Boat Show (23rd - 26th May), and Sydney International Boat Show (1st - 4th August).
