Girls Cast Off! is being launched by WIRFNQ to encourage women and girls around the state to wet a line.

Saturday, 2 March will see the 15 WIRFNQ leaders spread around Queensland organising events in their local area.

If you can't make one of these events, make your own—just pick up a rod and head down to your favourite fishing spot.

Can't make it out at all? Then share a picture of your favourite fishing moment with the tagline #Girlscastoff!

Hopefully this will encourage others to pick up a line too!
