Fishing industry leaders oppose the Water for California Act

Last Friday, 156 fishing industry leaders, including dozens of ASA members, wrote a letter to congressional leadership in opposition to the WATER for California Act (H.R. 215).

The bill could decimate Central California salmon runs and the thousands of jobs that the salmon runs support. ASA partnered with the Golden State Salmon Association the Pacific Coast Federation of Fishermen's Associations in gathering sign-ons for the letter.
