Three new all-electric models, the CL310E, CL360E and CL380E, have been added to the Highfield Boats Classic Tender range this autumn, featuring the Navy Evo electric outboard motor from ePropulsion.

The Classic E range which already includes the CL340, launched at the beginning of 2023 in Düsseldorf, has been developed as a result of the continuous path of innovation followed by Highfield Boats as the company explores new opportunities to make boating both enjoyable and sustainable.

The CL310E is powered by the 6hp Navy 3.0 Evo, which has a range of up to 49 miles, while the other two models are powered by the 9.9hp Navy 6.0 Evo whose range extends to 72 miles.

The proven design of the Classic tender, combined with the latest in propulsion technology provides clean, efficient and reliable power, in both salt and fresh water. There's no messy fuel or oil leaks and being electric, it's exhaust-free, so every trip is pleasant and - importantly - gentle on the environment. Lightweight and compact, both outboards are easy to carry around, whether stored ashore or onboard.

Console options allow for forward steering control for comfort and ease of navigation. The Classic tenders are finished to a very high quality with double decking to keep feet dry.

Their renowned aluminium hulls coupled with full length keel guards make them ideal for pulling up the beach on a trip out with friends and family.

Introducing a clean energy option within Highfield's Classic tender range reflects the company's ethos of minimizing boating's impact on the environment.

As well as adopting a strategy of expanding the offer of electric propulsion, Highfield's advanced factory processes reduce pollution by collecting all residual materials including loose powder from the powder coating line, aluminium dust, smoke and VOC (chemicals) from glues and resins.

Highfield Boats' Managing Director Europe, Mathilde Delfour, comments "We are proud of introducing the clean footprint of the Classic E series to our tender range. We developed these latest three models in response to the acclaim we received from the CL340, and customer demand for a greater variety of sizes. The introduction of electric boats is one of many steps that we are taking to balance environmental responsibility with the enjoyment of boating."

The Classic range model will represent the range at forthcoming shows around Europe in the autumn of 2023.
