High School Fishing Camp ends with MLF Foundation Tournament

Following three days of education at the 2023 Wiley X High School Fishing Camp Presented by Tackle Warehouse, the MLF Foundation Tournament Presented by Bob's Machine brought several high school hopefuls (and Kentucky Lake bass) to the scales.

The benefit tournament raises funds for youth fishing programs and initiatives nationwide.

Here are the results and highlights:

  • The team of Tristan Griggs, Matt Collins and Matt Bryan brought in a three-fish limit for 9-10 to earn the first-place prize of $1,000.
  • Corey Wallace and Casey Alexander finished second with 8-8 ($500 + $500 for best finish by a male-only team)
  • Lucas Recar, David Snyder and Brayden Wilson finished third with 7-11 ($250 + $1,750 in bonuses for best finish by a team with two or more family member, big fish and best finish in the high school category)
