ASA's Mike Waine briefs Congress on issues surrounding proposed vessel speed restriction

Last week, ASA's Mike Waine participated in a Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation briefing for congressional staffers and members of Congress on issues surrounding NOAA Fisheries' proposed speed vessel restriction and how the regulation could negatively impact recreational fishing.

Waine also joined several other industry partners in meetings with various members of Congress, urging them to support legislation that would mitigate NOAA's proposed regulation.
