Cody Meyer feels that jerkbait fishing has made a comeback thanks to forward-facing sonar, and just as the electronics have evolved, so have the other tools he keeps on hand.

The Evergreen Faith 87 is a smaller jerkbait that reaches deeper depths with three hooks. But, the smaller size means it needs the right reel - which is why Meyer pairs it with the Daiwa Tatula SV103. The SV103 model features a braking system that eliminates backlash without losing distance.

In this Tackle Warehouse Double Down, Meyer highlights why his ideal jerkbait setup combines the Evergreen Faith 87 with the Daiwa Tatula SV103.
