The third leg of the North Division of the Yellowfin Cape Lookout Shootout Series was held October 8th in North Carolina, and Yellowfin teams once again placed high on the leaderboard.

Team Current Situation, a 39 Yellowfin Offshore captained by Garret Fulcher, finished 2nd with a 45.33-lb king mackerel, winning $23,050. Team Raunchie Conch, captained by Cameron Atkins, also placed in the money finishing 12th. on their 32 Yellowfin Offshore. Captain Mike Williams and Team Release fished their 39 Yellowfin Offshore and won the Big Daddy prize of $11,400 for the largest king mackerel entered in the North Division Series with a 59.73-lb. fish caught in Leg 1.

The Yellowfin Cape Lookout Series Championship was held November 11 matching the top 30 qualifying boats from the North and South Divisions competing for over $250,000 in prize money and the coveted Team-of-the-Year honors. We will bring you the results of that exciting event soon!
