Mildura Flood update
To all our valued customers, suppliers and more,
We are still currently open and operating, with healthy stock of motors, boats, safety gear and more.
Due to the current river conditions, Baldwin Boats cannot at this time take any further bookings for motor servicing, boat repairs or welding works. We may have to reschedule or cancel any current bookings but will ring customers ahead of time.
With the expected levels of 38.60 meters AHD this means that water will be at least 100mm high in our shop, shed and workshop.
Access to our Shop and yard via road (Etiwanda Ave and River Boulevard) will be cut off in the next 2 weeks and we are currently looking for another shed/premises to operate out of.
If anyone knows of a short term lease with available shed space for us to rent, Please contact Kim or Chris on 0350227596
We will still be able to supply most of your boating needs during the floods, and our phone lines will still be operational. Simply call us and we will organise pickup or delivery.
The Baldwin Family would like to thank everyone who has offered to help us get ready for the high waters, and we are very grateful.
Current Flood information, flood mapping and more can be found at the following links:
We will keep everyone updated with more information as it becomes available.

Prepare your boat for flood water
We currently have 96 houseboats in our yard and are unable to slip any more vessels. We are lowering all these houseboats down for stability during flood waters. For those of you who are unable to slip your boat or have other boats in the water we recommend the following:
- Securing Vessels with ropes that are in good condition, to study mooring poles/trees.
- Securing vessel parallel to the bank and facing into the river flow.
- Ensure all safety equipment is on board and current.
- Make sure engine/s are operational
- Check your Insurance policy is current.
- Check your vessel more than once a day.
Flood waters are dangerous to drive in, there are many floating obstacles and very strong flows. We do not recommend using any vessel at this time in the Murray River.
