Osmosis, a leading provider of turn-key telematics in the marine industry, has signed with Forza X1 to integrate the use of Osmosis' telematics platform with Forza's electric boat models.

Forza X1 is a new developer of electric sport boats with a mission to inspire the adoption of sustainable recreational boating. Osmosis will pair with Forza to connect users to their boats through custom mobile and web applications over a cellular connection. The platform will also enable Forza to perform remote diagnostics for service, receive quicker feedback for product enhancements, and improve their products over time through over-the-air software updates.

Osmosis is designed around flexibility on both the front and back ends. The platform includes custom branded apps for end users and data acquisition models that can be adapted to electric or petrol-powered boats using proprietary or standard protocols like NMEA 2000 and J1939.

"Working with Forza is a very big and exciting step for Osmosis," stated Sean Marrero, President of Osmosis. "Osmosis started as a way to transform the customer experience for electric boats. Nobody has more know-how as a platform for developing and servicing E-boats than Osmosis. We are a great fit for new OEMs who are focused on both sustainability and connectivity from the start."

Joseph Visconti, Executive Chairman and Chief of Product Development for Forza X1 Inc., stated, "One of our goals from the start was to create a high-quality customer experience that spans the entire life of our products through a comprehensive, seamless, and efficient, connected system. We're looking forward to working with Osmosis Telematics to incorporate the full suite of Osmosis' capabilities into our FX1 boats and see our goal realized for the benefit of our customers."

Forza's app will be added to the existing lineup of Osmosis custom branded apps which includes My Nautique, Centurion RECON, and Ingenity Electric. For more information, visit the Osmosis website www.osmosis.io or connect with us at IBEX 2022 on September 27-29 at Tampa Convention Center www.ibexshow.com in booth 1-1000.
