The Central Coast has been announced as the next region to receive a new artificial reef in 2023.
The NSW Government has deployed nine offshore artificial reefs spanning from Tweed Heads to Merimbula and recently announced another to also be deployed off Forster in 2023.
DPI will now undertake further detailed assessments and consult with fishers and the community to determine the most suitable location off the Central Coast. For more information on the project and the other NSW artificial reefs visit the DPI website.
