Fowey Sailing Committee member, Andrew Dellow said: "We have had a great amount of interest in the event already and are looking forward to welcoming competitors and spectators from home and abroad to Fowey. The sea and coastal waters in this area can provide challenging and exciting racing conditions for sailors and we are looking forward to a great competition."

Competitors, visiting sailors and spectators will be welcomed to enjoy the hospitality, facilities and fabulous harbour views from the Royal Fowey Yacht Club and Fowey Gallants Sailing Club. Those not taking part in the racing will be able to enjoy the unique Cornish charm and atmosphere of Fowey Harbour and the surrounding area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Prince of Wales' Cup race on Friday 3 June is the highlight of the International 14 fleet calendar. The race traditionally takes place over a long course, and attracts competitors from far and wide. The prestigious internationally renowned sailing event will take place in the stunning waters outside Fowey Harbour in Cornwall, the second time Fowey has hosted it, the first being over 25 years ago in 1996.
