FAD-tastic fishing this summer

Tasmanian fishos have had their say on future locations for fish aggregating devices (FADs) for this summer.

Keen anglers responded to our survey about the trial FADs deployed off the east coast earlier this year. Read the results to find out how many fish were caught, what species and where.

The east coast FADs will be redeployed in December along with at least two new ones. Their locations will be published on our website.
