Tarheel (Bayliss 62') wins at home

Congratulations to the guys on Tarheel for receiving first place in the Dare County Boat Builders Tournament. With two consistent days of fishing, the crew topped the leaderboards in billfish releases with five white marlin and one blue marlin.

John R. Bayliss was also the recipient of the top angler award. We are proud to be a part of this tournament each year!

All proceeds from the tournament benefit the Dare County Boat Builders Foundation. The organization actively supports local educational programs and scholarships for Dare County students.

First place for Pescador (Bayliss 80')

Pescador took first place in the Bermuda Triple Crown series this past month. The group had a strong performance throughout each leg of the tournament, and in a close finish topped the leaderboards based on time. Pescador's last blue marlin release on a slow day of fishing helped to clinch the victory over their competitors. Congratulations to the owners and crew!

Mama C (Bayliss 60') with a close finish

The guys on Mama C placed second based on time at the Virginia Beach Marlin Invitational tournament last weekend. They released 1 blue marlin and 3 white marlin throughout the duration of the tournament. We wish them the well as they compete in the White Marlin Open this week!
