Great sailing on the penultimate day of the Garda Lake Rally, event reserved to the Melges classes, which during the weekend attracted to Malcesine the representatives of the Melges 14, Melges 20 and Melges 32 fleets.

What began as an unpromising day from the point of view of weather conditions, so as to allow only one race for the Melges 32 fleet in the morning with a very light Peler wind, then amazed the participants with a well-spread Ora wind gradually increasing over the afternoon.

Three races completed for all fleets, the maximum allowed by the notice of race, and the name of the first winner emerged: the crew of the former world champions of Tavatuy, with Pavel Kutzetsov at the helm, put the seal on the second 2021 event of the circuit Melges World League, leaving behind, at the end of a duel concluded only with the last race, La Pericolosa by Christian Schwoerer, returning to the Class for the first time in the season.

Bronze medal for Wilma by Fritz Homann, who anticipates in the standings the compatriot Homanit by Maximilian Stein, winner in the Corinthian division.

The Melges 20 Class resumes operations after the single regatta completed yesterday, and also archives three races. Following today's regattas, the name of the provisional leader of the ranking changes, and now responds to Fremito d'Arja by Dario Levi, assisted in the tactical choices by Stefano Cherin.

Second place for Nika by Vladimir Prosikhin, while the multiple champions of Russian Bogatyrs occupy the provisional third place.

In the Corinthian ranking, Benedetta Iovane's B.Lex sets the pace, followed by Marco Giannini's Neodent and Stefano Visintin's Kindako.
