The Melges 20 entered the challenge today and joined in the water the Melges 32, whose series of races started yesterday. A light Ora wind allowed to complete only one race for the Melges 20 fleet: the crew of Nika led by Vladimir Prosikhin was the first to cross the finish line.

Second place for Fremito d’Arja of Dario Levi, current leader of the seasonal ranking, and bronze medal for B.Lex of Benedetta Iovane, who thanks to today's result takes control also of operations in the Corinthian ranking.

Second place among non-professionals for Marco Giannini's Neodent and third for Stefano Visintin's Kindako.

On the other hand, the Melges 32 completed two races, which therefore rise to five completed races the total of their series and, with the completion of the first race tomorrow, they will be able to count on the takeover of the discard of the worst result.

The leader of the standings responds to the name of Tavatuy by Pavel Kuztnetsov, who today managed to take the lead over the 2019 World Champions on La Pericolosa, until yesterday second on equal points due to the worst partial results. The third place is occupied by Pippa of Lasse Petterson.

Once again, the Melges 32 fleet is confirmed competitive and very balanced: the possibility of completing three further regattas tomorrow and the ranking, which today is short and open, will be able to reserve some nice surprises for the final results.
