Fishing safety warning for Friday-Saturday

A cold front will move along the coast during Friday, bringing fresh to strong southerly winds, with a large southerly swell developing in its wake.
Winds are expected to ease during the weekend as a high currently in the Bight moves to the Tasman Sea, but powerful southerly swells are likely to linger through to at least Sunday.
BOM has issued warnings for Friday for the Macquarie Coast, Hunter Coast, Sydney Coast, Illawarra Coast, Batemans Coast and Eden Coast and for Saturday for the ENTIRE NSW coast.
On Friday, seas are expected to be 2 to 4 metres plus southerly swell of 4 metres. On Saturday, seas will be 2.5 metres and southerly swell will be 4 metres.
Large and powerful surf conditions are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as crossing bars by boat and rock fishing.
