Back at the beginning of lockdown in March, we published part 1 and part 2 of the best of the last 10 years at Looe Sailing Club in the UK.

The team have been back editing their footage with more great capsizes, close calls and leaps over the side, all accompanied by lots of giggles and laughter!

The very keenest of rocketeers launched as soon as Delta flew Eager to get over the disappointment of blasting to the start line on Creation Covers race day two only to wallow as the wind shut off, the fleet were eagerly anticipating the prospect of a three-race day out in Looe Bay. Founders Trophy and Beecher's Cup races for the 47-boat fleet Sunday 10th August saw the 2025 Merlin Rocket Aspire National Championships kick off at the beautiful Cornish resort of Looe. With the first two positions already decided, Tom and Shandy, and Vyv and DJ had already packed up their boats by the time the remaining 15 or so hardy souls decided to venture out for one last race. A day from the sublime to the ridiculous and back again The fleet was all planning for war at sea, but by the time we were going down the first run of race 3, we were frantically pulling out the fast pins.
