The Enoshima wind decided to take a break for the last day of Ready, Steady, Tokyo, cancelling the medal races for the single-handed boats.

Laser Radial sailor, Sarah Douglas, was ready to show off her skills today in the medal race. After being postponed onshore for a better part of the day, the Radials were able to complete two legs before the Race Committee abandoned the race. While the wind did not cooperate, our Radial sailor finishes the event in seventh place with a beautiful bullet in her last race of the event.

The Olympic Test event brought some very challenging conditions, which made for a great learning experience for our Canadian sailors. From the heat and humidity to catching the tail end of a Typhoon, the 2020 Olympic venue will be sure to keep us on our toes.

Final Results:

Laser - Robert Davis - 28th
Laser Radial - Sarah Douglas - 7th
Laser Radial - Maura Dewey - 40th
Finn - Tom Ramshaw - 17th
Nacra 17 - Allie Surrette and Max Flinn - 20th
49er - Will Jones and Evan DePaul - 20th
49erFX - Ali Ten Hove and Mariah Millen - 18th

Congratulations to all of our CST and CSDS athletes who competed in this event - next up the World Cup!
