Charles Devanneaux of NAOS Yachts and Fred Courouble of Courouble Design and Engineering recently sailed in the 2019 Transpac. They won a double handed trophy with Colligo Dux Standing Rigging!

Colligo engineers synthetic standing rigging solutions using Dynice Dux line from Hampidjan. 1/5 the weight, NO stretch issues, NO creep. Just upright speed. Proven and capable - Colligo Dux.

More than one week since the Transpac race in Honolulu, the A Fond Le Girafon traveled 2,225 NM (direct route on the charts) at an average of 8.46 knots in 10 days, 23 hours and 19 minutes. According to Charles and Fred's on board computer, they physically traveled 2,477 NM at an average of 9.41 knots.

On average the wind speed was 15.4 knots, quite light and not enough for their little missile. Their top speed was 22.8 knots and they went over 20 knots 7 times.

They finished 4th in their class and 17th overall!

In addition to having Colligo Dux Standing Rigging, the A Fond Le Girafon has Colligo Dux Running Backstays, Cheeky Tang®? Fittings, Stacker Block Purchase Systems, and Snatch Blocks for their sheet leads.

"Our very best memory is flying under spinnaker in the Molokai Channel steering our ballistic missile a.k.a Girafon!" - Charles Devanneaux of NAOS Yachts and Fred Courouble of Courouble Design and Engineering
