Large electric fishing reels typically use DC power, yet finding suitable marine-grade outlets and plugs for electrical connections can be challenging. Rather than attach clamps to a battery, or risk dangerous accidental use of an AC outlet, owners can install a complete Hubbell Marine DC-rated solution for powering their rigs.

Standard components of the Hubbell Marine electric reel system are a 30 amp locking receptacle, plug and connector. Each is rated at 28V DC for use with all 12V, 24V and 32V fishing reels. Their unique configuration ensures they can't accidentally be plugged into an AC-rated power supply. All pieces are UL listed and CSA certified.

These Hubbell Marine electrical products use nickel-plated contacts for extreme corrosion resistance. Integral rear seals on plugs and connectors protect internal components from dust and foreign matter. High-visibility yellow nylon casings are impact resistant and UV stabilized to assure years of reliable performance. Adding a Hubbell outlet box and weatherproof spring-loaded lift cover—both available in yellow, white or gray—completes the marine-grade package.
