Since 1976 Nanni has utilised Kubota, the world's largest manufacturer of diesel industrial engines, as a base for their marine diesel engine range. For the larger engines in the range, Nanni utilises the renowned Toyota block. Previously only using the straight 4 and 6 cylinder Toyota, Nanni have now added the V8 engine used in Toyota's LandCruiser taking the range up to 370HP giving precise performance for powerboats, sport boats, rigid-bottom inflatable boats, sport fishing, and fast cruisers.
