The Adelaide Boat Show (28 to 30 June) takes place at the Adelaide Convention Centre, conveniently located at the heart of the City. The Adelaide Riverbank Precinct is a hive of activity and where the City's cultural, sporting, education, medical, conference and entertainment zones merge, making it Australia's best-connected business events precinct, and the perfect home for the Adelaide Boat Show.

The recommended route to the show is via public transport. General transport details are available at adelaidemetro.com.au, where there is also a link to the handy MetroMATE transport app for use on smartphones.

Train

Catch a train into the city and it is just a short walk over to the Adelaide Convention Centre from the Adelaide Railway Station. You can check timetables for trains, buses and trams on the Adelaide Metro website.

Tram

The closest tram stop is located right in front of the historic Adelaide Railway Station, which is just a two-minute walk from the Convention Centre.

Bus

Adelaide's Free City bus service is a complimentary service for people who want to get around the city quickly, and stops right near the Adelaide Convention Centre (routes 98A, 98C). A network of public buses also connects the city to the rest of Adelaide.

Taxi

A Taxi Rank is positioned immediately in front of the Adelaide Casino on North Terrace. A short taxi trip to the airport takes 15 minutes and costs approximately $25.

Park 'n' Ride

Park 'n' Ride car parks offer visitors parking at convenient suburban locations, who then transfer to an Adelaide Metro public transport service to complete their journey. There are 72 Park 'n' Ride locations offering more than 10,800 parking spots.

Parking at the Convention Centre

There are two undercover car parking options at the North Terrace and Riverbank car parks. The Riverbank car park is accessible from Morphett Street and Festival Drive. Both car parks are located directly under the Centre and operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The automated payment stations accept credit and debit cards (surcharges apply).

Alternative Parking Options

Independently operated parking stations are also available at:

16 Solomon Street,
142 North Terrace, Adelaide (entry is via Woodson Lane),
