It has been confirmed that the fourth annual Clagett/Oakcliff Match Race Clinic and Regatta for sailors with disabilities will be held September 20-22, 2019. Hosting the clinic and regatta for the second year will be the Sagamore Yacht Club in Oyster Bay, NY.

The video of the third Clagett/Oakcliff Match Race Clinic and Regatta is now available for viewing and gives an insight in to the clinic and regatta that has attracted sailors for across the US for the last three years.

Internationally recognized match racing coaches, Dave Perry and Dave Dellenbaugh passed on a wealth of knowledge and skills to the sailors who attended, having traveled from across the US for the third annual Clagett/Oakcliff Match Race Clinic and Regatta.

A number of the sailors have been participants at the first two Clagett/Oakcliff Match Race Clinic and Regattas but it was a newcomer to the regatta who took home top honors, Kevin Holmberg from Tampa, Florida with his crew of Noah Barrengos (San Francisco, Cali.) and Jeff Long, Newport R.I.

Holmberg, who is a familiar face in the single handed 2.4mR class, commented after his win with his team, "I really enjoyed sailing with a crew and have learned a lot this weekend."

"The Clagett is thrilled that we are now in our third year for the Clagett/Oakcliff Match Race Clinic and Regatta which has proved to be a popular racing format for sailors with disabilities. We've had many sailors comment that they are very excited to be able to learn a new set of sailing skills and to be able to race in a different format. This year we saw a lot of familiar faces to match racing and a lot of new ones which is a testament to the enthusiasm of the sailors for this type of racing," commented Clagett President and Co-Founder, Judy Clagett McLennan.
