Craftinsure Merlin Rocket Silver Tiller at Tamesis Club

by Alex Jackson 8 Oct 2018 19:01 UTC 7 October 2018

Merlin Rocket Craftinsure sponsored Silver Tiller competitors had the decision of racing at Tamesis SC in Teddington or Hollingworth Lake just North of Manchester, some 200 miles from London.

Ironically thanks to Kingston's well executed road works on the one-way system, the drive time was pretty evenly split between the two. Tamesis welcomed guests from as far afield as Hampton, Minima and Lymington... that is not a typo.

Following the success of Saturday's Vintage racing, a further six, predominately narrow Merlin's joined the classics to baluster numbers to 14.

A huge thanks to Tamesis for their hospitality and hats off to the race team for getting in 3 clean races under very challenging conditions.

Hampton SC is holding the sister event this coming weekend, 13th and 14th October with Vintage racing on Saturday and Silver Tiller on Sunday. Those looking to qualify for the Silver Tiller this is your last chance to get a Restricted result.

All our welcome with details available on www.merlinrocket.co.uk
