Queensland's popular Brisbane Boat Show opens on 24 August at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre South Bank, where more than 50 exhibitors from across the country will fill 20,000 square metres of exhibition space for the three days of the show. With every exhibitor now squeezing every inch out of their exhibition space, this show is a must-visit for those who love cruising, fishing, water skiing, wake boarding or just paddling around Queensland's waterways.
Aussie Boat Sales presents a first for Queensland with the Zego range of unique fishing craft. The Zego 300T is unlike any other 3 metre boat and is sure to attract attention at the Show. The combination of a wider (1.92m) aluminium superstructure attached to tough polyethylene hulls provides a platform unlike any other in its class. With superior stability, handling and ease of use, its ideal for 2 adults and 2 children in sheltered waterways. Just as revolutionary is the Zego kayak, again constructed from extremely durable foam filled polyethylene. The multi hull design provides unexpected stability and the style of seating allows for drier riding and a more comfortable paddling position. This kayak has great potential for both fresh and saltwater fishing as you can stand-up with confidence to cast of play the fish.
Brisbane Marine, the current Queensland Mercury Dealer of the Year, is showcasing premium aluminium brands including Anglapro Boats, Extreme Boats, Harris Pontoon Boats, Profile Boats and Savage Boats, perfect for fishing creeks and estuaries, as well as cruising the Broadwater or heading over to Moreton Island. For the first time in Queensland, Brisbane Marine presents the all-new Profile 585 Centre Console and the all-new Extreme 795 Walkaround, definite crowd stoppers. They will also have their qualified mechanics on site to answer any engine questions, alongside a range of the latest marine electronics from Lowrance, Simrad, Humminbird, Minn Kota, Motorguide, and JL Audio.
The Boyne Tannum Hookup is considered to be Australia's biggest family fishing competition in the Gladstone region, boasting up to 3,000 participants, coming up in May next year.
