Any boat's flowing design can be compromised in the rigging process with the addition of deck hardware that interrupts its smooth lines. Series 500 and 501 Line Chocks from Accon Marine retract flush into the deck when not in use to preserve a vessel's clean appearance.
Made from corrosion-resistant, marine grade 316 stainless steel, the model 500 Port and Starboard Skene Chocks and 501 Straight Stern Chock feature a streamlined, stylish design. Each lifts with simple finger pressure when needed and recesses flush to the deck with a quick push down after lines are stowed.
Accon offers its Line Chocks in two sizes. The 114 mm long version measures 38 mm W x 19 mm H when deployed and accommodates standard mooring lines up to 16 mm in diameter. For larger vessels, the 152 mm long chock is 70 mm W x 29 mm H. It can handle lines up to 19 mm in diameter.
Installation is easy, requiring only a simple cut-out and two steel screws. A mounting template is included. Optional drain fittings are available.
