Aldeburgh Yacht Club will once again be running a weekend for Classic Dinghies and Dayboats on the 16th and 17th June. Using CVRDA guidelines it will be open to boats built in 1985 or before in classes designed before 1965 (with a local dispensation for the club's Loch Longs and Flying Fifteens).

There will be two races on Saturday (first race not before 13.00) and one race on Sunday morning. There will be starts for Dinghy Handicap, Keelboat Handicap, Loch Longs and Aldeburgh Lapwings. To encourage more participation the entry fee for the weekend will be £10 (£60 for boats requiring launching and a mooring) and free camping or camper van parking is included.

On the Saturday evening our caterers will be serving an informal two course supper in the clubhouse to which all competitors and families are invited. The event is running alongside the British Classic and Vintage Dragon Championship although they will be sailing on different race courses.

AYC would like to thank Demon Yachts for their sponsorship of the event and to Adnams of Southwold for their generous prizes.
