Retractable, pull-up cleats offer a number of convenience and safety advantages over their traditional fixed counterparts. But their more complex design can present installation challenges in locations with limited deck space. Slim-Line Cleats from Accon Marine provide all of the benefits of pull-up hardware in an attractive and compact profile that fits where other cleats won't.
Made from corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel for a long life, Accon Marine Slim-Line Cleats come in 114mm, 152mm, 203mm and 254mm sizes with a sleek, narrow footprint for more versatile mounting options. The 114mm model needs deck space just 33mm wide.
A recess in the base allows the cleat to be easily pulled up with light finger pressure. Pushing straight down retracts it into a stowed position nearly flush with the deck to minimize tripping and snagging hazards. Integral studs in the base allow for a secure installation with no exposed screw heads for a polished, contemporary look.
Each Slim-Line Cleat is provided with a 3mm-thick backing plate that also serves as a cut-out template. Mounting is as simple as drilling four holes and saw-cutting a clearance channel between the center two. An optional waterproofing cup prevents unwanted runoff below decks. Products are backed by a 2-year warranty.
