The all-new Barracuda 9 follows in the wake of its talented younger sister, the Barracuda 6 launched last autumn, and she is a spectacular conclusion to the renewal of the range.
Showcasing Beneteau's matchless expertise in truly comfortable sport fishing, this new flagship is loyal to the Barracuda sport pedigree, robust, and true to its origins. It also lends itself to safe and pleasant 'smart commuting'.
Announced as the star of the 2018 Barracuda Tour next spring, the Barracuda 9 will be launched officially at the Nantes European Saltwater Fishing Show, from 16 to 18 March 2018.

The Barracuda Tour has been organized by Beneteau since 2011. It is a no-kill fishing competition that brings together thousands of keen fishers from all over the world. This yearly event is a fabulous way to observe the behaviour and expectations of sport fishers and it gives developers at Beneteau an opportunity to innovate and adapt the Barracuda line to meet their needs.

Her panelled freeboards, around an open and modular cockpit, improve comfort on fishing trips, while a starboard side access gate makes drawing alongside and climbing aboard easier. At the back of the pilothouse, a large full-beam glass door provides good ventilation and seamlessly opens up the living spaces on board.
To clinch the Barracuda Tour spirit, Beneteau is offering a "fishing pack", including 6 additional rods, a side net roller, a live bait well with circulating water, a deck wash pump and even a cutting board on the transom!
Extremely comfortable inside
The interior saloon has an innovative layout, with facing seats positioned lengthways, making movement easier. The galley is as functional as ever and is now equipped with a large refrigerator. With the driving station, the Barracuda 9 forges substantially ahead with a twin bench seat and a large control panel that can hold two 9" and 12" displays.
The door closing off the cabins provides safety for the co-pilot and separates the pilothouse from the other spaces. The lower deck has a large cabin and a separate shower room, as well as a midcabin that can be used either as stowage space or for an extra double berth.
Smart-commuter
With a four-seat forward lounge, large walkways and protecting pulpits, the Barracuda 9 delivers a high level of safety and comfort. Equipped with the latest Airstep® hull, she is a joy to live aboard and responsive when handling, even in a rough sea. Powered by two engines delivering up to 500 hp, two fuel tanks are available (400 or 600 litres) on the Barracuda 9. You can confidently put out to sea with up to 10 people on board (Category B6/C10).
