After a successful 2017 season for both the B14 class and their title sponsor during 2018, Gul is to continue as the class TT Series and as Nationals title sponsor for 2018 with many prizes available to all levels in the fleet throughout the year.
Gul are also continuing the sponsorship of Team Gul/North Sails GBR 795 Mark Barnes and Charlotte Horlock, who won the 2017 TT circuit and came 2nd in the 2017 Nationals after leading the series into the last race, to be narrowly beaten by Team Harken GBR 796 Nick Craig/Toby Lewis who went on to win the World Championships in Tasmania in January.
The B14 class association will be exhibiting at the Dinghy Show on 3rd – 4th March 2018 in the Great Hall, stand A16, and Gul also in the Great Hall on stand B42. If you would like to know more about the B14/GUL come to stand A16, and if in depth information on Gul products, stand B42.
The B14s will be running two fleet levels during 2018; the Grand Prix consisting of Ovington/Seavolution hulls and Classic fleet Rondar/Sunburst/Starboard hulls (Pre No.755). All will race as one fleet but prizes will be awarded to both fleets.
The GUL B14 TT series kicks off at Rutland on 24 – 25th March with the Inland Championship. So if a B14 owner/sailor, make the effort to hitch up your B14 and come and join us, sailing against some of the best sailors in UK amateur sailing. If looking to find a dinghy that always makes you smile, whether sailing in light airs or full on big breeze and offering great competition, come to stand A16 and find out more about one of the most exciting dinghies on the UK sailing scene. Alternatively just ask Nick or Toby why they keep coming back for the buzz they do not get in other dinghies.
