During the 2015 D-Zero National Championships at Calshot from 23rd to 25th May, all competitors will be entered into a prize draw.

The winner, to be drawn at the prize-giving, will be awarded 4 days of D-Zero coached training in Southern Portugal during the winter of 2015/2016, including airport transfer from Faro, boat charter, 1-to-1 coaching and accommodation for the sailor and a partner.

Additionally, Suntouched Sailboats have generously agreed to contribute a maximum of £100 towards a return flight to Faro from a UK airport.

The sailing will take place on the sheltered Guadiana estuary at Vila Real de Santo António, and on the Atlantic Ocean when conditions permit. The venue is a World Class sailing area and as recently as 2014 hosted the ISAF Youth World Championships.

The lucky winner will receive personal coached training in the D-Zero in areas such as boat preparation and set-up, boat handling, boat-speed, tactics, wave sailing and tides, in addition to basic wind strategy and meteorology, fitness and diet. The coaching will take place in a relaxed and informal environment, and will include adequate opportunity for discussion, video review and de- brief at the end of each daily session.

Total value of this prize package is £800.

Full details / dates to be confirmed subsequent to the prize-giving.
