One Metre Worlds at West Kirby Sailing Club - Update

The IOM World Championships are reaching a critical point at West Kirby. After 18 races the positions at the top are very close with the top five positions occupied by GBR skippers.

The IOM Worlds web site is the place to go for real time information and video footage of the racing. The web site has had over 130,000 hits during the week with the event being watched all over the world.

2024 MYA Scottish District IOM Championship 1
Hosted by Aberdeen Model Yacht Club at Forfar Loch Thirteen skippers and six race team members travelled from all over Scotland. Eight different IOM designs were present with construction types including nine wooden planked hulls, three fibreglass and a 3D printed boat. Posted on 21 Oct
